Lining for the mills of the second and third grinding stages with higher productivity (ball mills with central or grate discharge 2,7…5,5xL; ore and pebble stone mills 4,0x7,5; 5,5x7,5)
Cross-section of the linings “Scales” and “Tiles” is at most approximated to the geometry of natural wave process which in combination with slope position of the lining working area provides additional axle circulation of mill charging. Thanks to these factors the effect of ball segregation is decreased, effective length of the mill is increased, additional grinding zones are formed and, as a result, the productivity raises by 4-7%.
__Lining "Tile" is an improved modification of the lining "Scales" and combines two distinctive features.
__1. The geometry of the lining is as close as possible to the geometry of the natural wave process, which allows:
__- minimize the time when the mill enters the optimum operating mode and increase the yield of the finished class;
__- Reduce power consumption for the formation of the wave process in the mill;
__- Optimize the lifetime of the lining due to the proportional wear of its surface with a rational variation in the thickness of the slabs.
__2. The lining profile has a periodic height of the wave crest, which provides additional displacement of the milling feed along the axis and increases the mill's productivity.
__Elements of lining are made in the form of solid slabs, which allows more accurately recreate the geometry of the wave, shorten the time of installation and dismantling and strengthens the structure.
__The technology of production of liners of the type "Tile" makes it possible to produce plates with dynamically changing thickness, which makes it possible to provide the maximum working volume of the mill.
